Susan was born and was raised in Clinton, Mississippi. She attended Mississippi University for Women where she graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration.
Upon graduation, Susan was offered and accepted a position in Birmingham, Alabama with BellSouth Telecommunications. She celebrated 35 years of service with BellSouth and AT&T in July 2020. Over the course of her career, Susan has held many positions including Programmer, System Manager, Project Manager, and Program Manager. In 2013, she obtained her Project Management Professional Certification. In 2018, Susan moved with her job to Dallas, Texas.
In 2003, it was through her work at BellSouth that she met and worked with Beverly Graham and learned about Ciloa. In 2004, Susan was honored to become a member of the Ciloa Board of Directors where she has held multiple positions including Prayer Ministry Chairman, Secretary, and Chairman of the Board.
Serving and being active in a local church has always been important to Susan. She has served in many areas over the years, including Choir, Ladies Ensemble, Women’s Ministry, and Children’s and Youth departments. Susan had the privilege to teach children as 1-year old’s and then as teens. She considers it a joy and blessing to have watched these children mature into young men and women seeking and serving God.
Susan currently resides in Forney, Texas, USA, and is a member of a local church there. She is single, lives with three very spoiled cats, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her niece and nephew. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and scrapbooking.
